hey S, on a professional tattoo note, I like your spiral. I am quite fond of them and have many pieces of jewllery that contain spirals. It fits you very nicely. They are hard to do in a single line, and the lines seem solid, though your pics aren't that clear. Do you know what needle grouping he/she used on you? P tells me that you had another idea before, but this seems to have been a good choice. Do you have any others? I am glad that you had meaning behind them, that makes them way more personal.

Is Berlusconi up for re-election or is it just local elections? Will Berlusconi be up for re-election anytime soon? I certainly hope so (I'm not a big fan of Berlusconi or George W. or any of those types.)
Instead of ice cream, I made strawberry shortcake from scratch last night. It was good. I'm supposed to go running today, but I am sick! I seem to have developed a bad cold in the past few days and I am not happy about it.
UGH! And I'm supposed to go out dancing tonight, so I have to get better soon.
Time for vitamins and rest. What a terrible way to spend a sunny Saturday in San Diego.
p.s. I might be traveling to Italy in 2006!!!!!!! 
My Aunt is a linguist and she wants to study Italian dialects so she might rent an apartment for 3 months and of course, I will come visit her! I am sooooooo excited!

I will never go on a health kick that would keep me from eating gelato all nocciola! That being said, it's near impossible to find good gelato alla nocciola here in California. Hence my ever growing desire to return to Italy...
Your idea of doing a set in the cemetery with all of the gravestones bearing my last name is a great one! I wish I could fly to Italy entirely for that purpose (and of course, the aformentioned gelato alla nocciola.) I'm sure my parents took a few pictures, but I was 18 at the time so they are probably pretty tame. I've been racking my brain trying to think of a creative and unique idea for my photoshoot, but I haven't come upon anything nearly as unique as your suggestion.
I'm excited for you about your new CD. Yay!

Aaaallright, I had a nice weekend off, I went back on the ambulance on the night between Monday and Tuesday, and I slept between 11.30pm and 6.45am cause there were NO CALLS! Wooo!!! My luck protected the city once again, no one needed to call an ambulance yesterday. Cool.

I must admit that I'm a bit afraid to see Gael Garcia Bernal in an English language film. I saw him in Don't Tempt Me (Sin noticias de Dios ) and he didn't pull off acting in English particularly well. I'm afraid he'll be like Penelope Cruz, who is a wonderful actress in Spanish but just can't seem to make good English films. But that's just my opinion.
So, were you actually born in Milan? My ancestry is Italian, so I have a bit of soft spot for anything Italian. I took Italian in college for a year and used to have a blast getting totatlly drunk and spekaing Italian to people (for some reason there just happened to be a person who spoke Italian at every party I went to!) When I was in Italy, I visited my relatives in the Dolomiti (they live in this teeny town called Castel Fondo) and it was totally strange because every gravestone in the cemetery had my last name on it! Weird....
I'm dying for some nocciola gelato right now!
