I just finished watching Puck Attitude that aired on IFC last year. In a great way, of course, it told the story of bands before The Ramones and bands after The Ramones.
Bands that I have heard of and never dived into. The film even hit up some of whats going on now(sadly nothing from the Midwest). So that got me thinking. When is the midwest gonna start being represented, letting go of the Green Day shadow that was cast over the US? Well, If it is ever gonna get told, I better get busy, there is a story to tell.
