Ok, got back late last night from Haliburton.The camp ground we went to was not so good,It's a private camp ground called Jay lake, the "sandy beach" consisted of about 5 feet of sand beside the boat dock(note they do not allow power boats,canoe,paddle boats etc only).Now when i called to book the site I told them I would have my daughter( 3 years old) and my dog, so we get there and we're in the middle of nowhere, no water access or washrooms near by.So we get set up and go to the pool as the beach well was'nt an option.We spend some time in the pool and then go to a party that [MEMBER=Hermetica's]work is throwing,had a great time,left around nine to go back to the site and as we're driving back there is a big thunder storm brewing.Now i'm hoping it blows over as theBean is terrified of thunder, get back and settled and the storm hits.At around midnight there is a huge blot that hits about 300 feet from our tent and thats it into the van we go.5 am the bugs come out back to the tent.8 am wake up about 2 hours of sleep for me, get some breakfast and head for the pool,only too find it's not cleaned yet and run into the wife of the owner= bitch. Decide to go into town and spend the day there end up spending the night in the cabin H is sharing with two other people from the school.On the plus side had great camp fire and got to spend some quality time with the Bean.Ok just realized this is huge run on entry sorry,but that's how i tend to write. Anyhow take care play safe.
