when i was driving home last night a bus was next to me. everything was so quiet and dark, some of the street lights were burnt out.

& i could see the giant bus shadow kind of sailing along at the same speed of my car, but the bus was so quiet all i could hear was its brakes.

maybe never living in a rural area has totally put me out of touch with nature, but fuck it. right then i felt like i was a part of everything else & it was a peaceful feeling.
