Hello SGLand!!
I love horror movies, since I was just a kid, but my favorite horror movie is, in fact, one that I watched for the first time last year.
The House of 1000 corpses is written and directed by Rob Zombie, and it’s also his directorial debut! The film is about a group of teenagers traveling around the country when they meet Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen and are interested in the story of Doctor Satan. After that, they meet Baby Firefly (who is played by the stunning Sheri Moon Zombie) and all her psychotic family adept at cannibalism and satanic rituals!
I was introduced to this masterpiece by my boyfriend and since I first watched, it doesn’t leave my head! Maybe because it’s one of the few good horror movies recorded in the 2000s or because I’m so fucking in love with Baby Firefly (I would let her torture me forever)!
Anyway, the movie is just the first part of the Firefly family history! The franchise features two other movies, the last one being released in 2019!
