So the bar was busy was F U C K, yesterday. The bamboo was CRACK-A-Lackin'. There were so bodies there to watch the contest/compete that all of the sitting-space was taken and people were clustered-fucked into standing shoulder to shoulder like it was an actual show. It was NUTS.
As expected, I arrived late and turned in a song that I was comfortable with. I was comfortable enough that I was able to work a surprise out for the crowd. A lot of the competitors didn't interact with the audience, but stuff like that is supposed to be campy -- The crowd wants a show. We were videotaped again, so expect some footage sometime in the week. The poor camera guy wasn't able to keep up with me (so he says) because he didn't expect me to take the microphone and walk off of the damned stage. I guess I should have told him, but then it wouldn't have been a surprise. Ahahahaha.
Anyway, it went well as far the entertainment value went. I have no idea how I SOUNDED because it 's so effing hard to hear that I just assume I'm flat. LOL I don't know for sure if I'm going back next week, but I'll find out by e-mail today and keep you guys posted. Woot woot!
