see, the trouble is, that's what's missing - a sense of some sort of connection, especially an emotional one. i don't think that two people in a relationship need to be the same, but i think some things have to fit, and some of the chemistry that maybe should be there is just. . . missing.
and the fact that she doesn't really get my 'art thing' only makes the lack of connections more apparent. i've almost exclusively dated girls who were into art / the arts my entire adult life, and this was really the first tiem i was with soemone who wasn't and it's sort of highlighted that it's something i need. it's an aspect of my personna and my life that i just need the other person to just. . . 'get', you know?
