I want to go to the Mardi Gras parade tomorrow...

I completely agree with baudot.

I was a Linux-only PC user, and I have a couple of Sun boxes at home. A few months ago I got a PowerBook, and haven't looked back. It's a beautiful thing.

And I'd have to go with Stewie as well. biggrin

i++ once more for the unix mac users. My ultra2E sits in a closet now (someone unplugged all my scsi drives, and I havn't fixed it yet) and I use my powerbook for everything, disk imaging, forensics (sometimes, i have to use another box for floppies) coding, the works.

You have to go with stewie. The Shatner influence is strong.

You are a geek. Just so you know. ... Very cool

I like the road trip idea. An old friend and I have been talking of doing a tribute to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and perhaps all things Hunter S. Thompson, road trip to vegas some time in the not to distant future.

Oh man... I seriously have to get Napoleon Dynamite on dvd! A couple weeks ago my brother rented it and we both laughed out asses off. Since it got a bad review in the local paper I thought I would hate it but that review was wrong, wrong, WRONG!!! It's exactly my type of humor, where something as simple as stuffing tater tots in a...

From Kris7:

A) First, recommend to me:
1. a movie:
2. a book:
3. a musical artist, song, or album:

(B) I want everyone who reads this to ask me three questions, no more, no less. Ask me anything you want.

(C) Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends to ask you anything.

Answers to your questions:

1)If you could make a snowman of anything, what would it be?

2)What's your favorite cereal?

Quaker 100% Natural Granola

3)What famous woman, living or dead, would you
have sex with (assuming of course the dead lady
was really alive of course)

Carole Bouquet as Melina Havelock in For Your Eyes Only.
One of my favorite Bond Girls of all time. She started
my obsession with dark haired women. love

Ok, now your turn:

1. Movie: Wizards (animated)
2. Book: The Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.
3. Band: Comes With The Fall - The Year Is One
I saw these guys both open for and play as back up band for J
erry Cantrell. They played great with Jerry and their own set
made the other opening band look soooooo pathetic.
Then again, it wouldn't have been that difficult

Questions:

1.What was your favorite toy when growing up?

2.What's your favorite Velvet Underground album?

3.Name a band and/or album that takes you to waaaay
back in the day, for better or worse.

God I love the oldies
*listening to Dionne Warwick's Walk on By* something about that song, man.
Tonight i have to select a monologue for acting class and read two more chapters of this inane textbook. Sometime or another I gotta start on this book for history, Murdering McKinnley which I am not looking foward to. Last class my history prof. pronounced W.E.B DuBois' last...

well, you went and did it. Reminding me that I have math to do tonight must be some kind of unpleasant sin.

while on the comic topic, I will just have to stay, for now, with Neil Gaiman and Straczynski

later, off to math...

I like that song too. Have you heard Isaac Hayes' version of "Walk On By"? It's 12 minutes of epic heartache. That's right, 12 minutes. eeek

My younger sister actually did call a teacher on a mistake, but it was far worse than mispronunciation. This woman thought a cyclops was a dinosaur. The second time she said it, my sister couldn't take it anymore, raised her hand, and informed the teacher that the cyclops is a mythological creature, not a dinosaur. surreal
