Hello new friends!
Last night was really rough...I had a pretty good night on cam, but then my pup got really sick. He started throwing up and acting really weird, shaking and yelping like he was in pain. This is the second time this has happened so we took him to the emergency vet. They did a bunch of tests and couldn't really find anything wrong, so they gave us anti-nausea and pain medication. It cost us almost $800. The medicine makes him very lethargic, wobbly and sleepy. I cooked him some plain chicken and white rice and he did eat it, and now he's sleeping. I think he's doing ok...I really hope so. I was a fucking mess. Balling my eyes out the whole time we were there. At first they suggested pancreatitis, which is what my Mom died of, and my boyfriend said I just crumbled right before his eyes. Thank god that's not what it was. I am emotionally and physically drained. We didn't get home til 6am this morning. Luckily we both had off work today.
So , I don't know what I'm doing right now. I was going to get ready to cam but I'm not sure that I have it in me. Plus, this pup just got up on the bed with me and started cuddling. So I can't move. Lol.
