im pretty sure im deleting my two sets in member review...or at least classy for now. so, IF ANYONE WANTS PRINTS FROM THIS SET, TELL ME NOW! i will be placing a print order next week and then deleting the set. its time for some newness...
yesterday was jubilee day. its the largest, and longest running one day street fair this side of the mississippi. and my shop just happens to be on the street they close down for the fair. it was pretty crazy outside, but as far as business inside, we were dead as shit. 717 tattoo had their piercer here doing piercings inside of our shop all day, and i think we had two tattoos. lol. i got my nostril pierced...but no pics yet! i didn't really get to enjoy jubilee day. it was all a bit overwhelming to me. i was people watching from inside. plus, it was raining on and off the whole time, and i didn't want to get wet. haha. i did get two crab cakes, and some fried veggies. the food is the best part anyways! you can see a pic of me and my crab cake in my last blog.
i had to leave around 4 to get to class. we critiqued our prints, and i already new what was wrong with mine...i don't know why but it was a bit out of focus. i gotta fix this for my next assignment. there was nothing more i could do to make the print better, and i didn't get my mat board yet, so i left early. i was planning on doing this anyway. i was feeling really shitty, and i just didn't want to be there. blah, idk. anyways, our next assignment is "secret place". and i know exactly what i want to shoot! i will be adventuring for this on sunday i hope.
tomorrow night my dude's band, alive in the moment is playing with anti-flag. i was gonna try to shoot another roll and get some better pics for my first assignment, but i get really panicky and shit when there's that many people around. especially when they're stupid kids. if you want to come to the show here's the fb page. its kind of bullshit because they're charging $3 a car if you don't have 3 or more ppl in the car...i was planning on going by myself. an acquaintance just messaged me on fb to tag along, so that equals 2...one more and im set! i hate being responsible for other ppl though. i just want to do my own thing. o wells, there's guaranteed to be party time afterwards cuz this is a huge deal for them, plus we got the whole house to ourselves! hells yeah. drunken texts...haha.
i talked to 717 while they were at our shop yesterday and it sounds like they will be sponsoring the event too! more gift certificates to give away and the sexy 717 girls will be there also! we still gotta work out the details, but this is just one more thing to get excited about!
