time for a blogitty blog.
i started a new job. at another shoe store. yes, i had to leave my other beloved shoe store that i've been at for almost two years now. it was bittersweet, but i won't get into that. anotherallniter actually took my position there, which means i will still be there all the time visiting him, and i can still get discounts. haha. but anyway, the new place is paying me good. im technically part time, but getting full time hours. and i will be a key holder in a short time, and hopefully promoted to assistant manager when there's an opening. also, i have health insurance! fuck yes. i am so excited about this i can not even tell you. i've been without insurance for over a year now. no more paying out of pocket for prescriptions and doctor visits! and this means i can get the good shit...and maybe actually start taking care of myself again like i should. yeah. so the new job has been going pretty well. they seem to be happy with the work im doing. honestly im busting my ass to show them i deserve the management job. cuz i do. i've been doing all the shit work ya know...which i don't really mind, i just know i can do better. i can't even run register yet, so im sort of just trucking along with whatever they tell me to do. im liking it so far. but i can't help but still feel a bit unhappy. not with the job necessarily. but i just need to find what makes me happy and do it. now, just to figure out what that is so i can do it...lol.
today i kind of feel like an asshole. like i said, i've been busting my ass. up until this week i've been working three jobs the past two weeks. plus camming. so i've been really exhausted. and im adjusting to working full time again. today was my only day off this week. and i've been really looking forward to it. i get a call this morning at around almost 9am. i didn't answer it cuz it didn't come up on my caller id. well they left a message and it was the new job asking me to work a 10-2 because there was a "situation" at one of the stores. i wonder what the situation was...anyways, there was no way i was going to make it there by 10, and i can't believe they would ask me to work on my only day off...so i just let it go. i hope that doesn't make me look too bad... do you think i should call and explain that i was sleeping and didn't get the message in time? or should i just let it go and maybe mention something when i work tomorrow? idk. im prob over thinking it though. o well.
so that's that. because of the new job and such i will not be able to make it to hell city killumbus this year. yes i am sad, but there's always next year. plus, i think i will be working the booth all weekend at the wizard world philly convention june 11th to 13th. so all you pa people can come see me there.

the boy is coming over and i think we're going to take a walk, then go to the grocery store so i can cook some dinner. im thinking maybe greek chicken? mmmhhmmm.
