They've got a whole floor of vinyl, but they're still a chain store... There's some good genre-specific stores in uptown Minneapolis (including the Rhymesayers home-base!! WooHoo!), but no good indie stores that I'm aware of that have a decent selection of everything. There was one right by where I work, but they went bottom-up about the same time I really got into collecting wax, which was a real bummer.
BTW, the drop from 40 degrees to 15-below w/ -40 windchills within a day isn't that bad... so don't let that scare you away from MinneSNOWta... Eh?
P.S. -- I
my new toy, but I think I'm going to have to modify it just a bit so the bottles sit about an inch higher so I can fit a Pint glass underneath without problem. Such is the life of a lush I guess *shrug*

Also... I'm kinda' stuck in the same situation as you -- I'd love to go back to school, but I don't want to give up the $20+/hr I'm making right now in the meantime to go to school for something I'd actually enjoy doing daily.

Working full time + school sucks, but in the end it'll probably be worth it to get settled into a career you can enjoy.

I doubt there is one here in Arizona... I drove thru a snowy town but it had melted and left slush. Never got out cuz we were behind schedule. So no, I've never been able to see or touch real snow. Wish one time that i do
