Tommorow, I get my new work PC. I'll have a crazy day: tighten up my code and it's docs, settle my payment and finalize my resignation, run over to the new job, deploy PCs, wire lan, and get back to whiteboarding our early design for the next project I'll take on. Joy.
Why is it that I either do nothing or I'm running around all week?
Why is it that when you're overworked, people run up to you to offer you new work and when you could do whatever they need, they don't need you?
I think it's that people in general always want what others are having. No one wants what's available for the taking, only what's already taken.
The same holds true in other circumstances too.
