Today, a guy I used to be friends with (until we actually worked together, some people are fine in small doses...) e-mailed an offer for work. It's something I've done before (ie: IDS interface in PHP) and so I'm wondering what's the catch. He got me on board the company where I did that stuff in the first place (and got his ass fired/let go for slacking and generally being incompetent) and now he's at it again.
I can use the work. But I can't stand working much with the guy (takes a lot of credit, delivers a lot of nothing mostly, he antagonizes most people he works with but not people he works for.)
I gave him my general infos and my Consulting Rate (capitalized cause I mostly settle for 2/3 or half of it if the contract's decent.) We'll see what happens. After all the guy all but dropped out of existence after getting sacked.
