I had an interesting productive day. I worked on a project to implement a wifi hotspot captive portal for authentication. Fairly fun stuff and I hammered out the core design today with the other guys.

I may or may not get a lead on a job in Ottawa, who knows.

I had a blast from the past last night. I was out playing pool with a few friends at a large pool hall and the waitress at the bar recognized me from High School.

As of friday, I'm unemployed, probably not for very long (I hope). If they pay me, I'm allright. If they decide they can default, well, I'm fucked. I sent out a few CVs and I need to call some friends.

The cat pissed me off tonight. I can't wait for my roommate to give it back to her parents. My roommate had a glass of water near my phone and the cat tipped it over. Now the phone doesn't work anymore. I hope it's only a short that will disappear when it dries.
