thanks. it wasn't actually supposed to be black, though. i was going for more of a dark brown... which is what it said on the box. but i guess we can't all have what we want, now can we?

Wow, that's almost enough money to pay for 2 semesters of tuition. Hah, yea I have a feeling I'll slurge and buy all new nice things as soon as I can afford it. But 'course I'll be poor for the first little while on my own, while I'm still in school. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to take a lot of furniture from my mother's house when I move... but yea, new stuff would be nice! You're right about getting a roommate or two, I'm going to need to do that. Rent is pretty expensive here... apparently moreso than Montreal (lucky you!) but a lot less than Toronto.

What types of sites were those? Well, the second I can guess.

About moving out. my hope is that I'll have enugh money saved (err... maybe...) and coming in that I can move out right before next summer, and support myself though the summer of work (co-op) and the fall semester. then I'll be done and need to get a job asap.

you know, i sorta like the blurriness. like the dog just leaped out of nowhere to get into the frame. which isn't all that far from the truth.

i was actually practicing my manual focusing skills that day. can't say i was all that sucessful, but it was good to get back in the mf swing of things.
