Well, I officially got a cash crunch! I'm at -750$ or so. And between 2 to 6 weeks away from getting income and cashing out my dental insurance claim. Even the income I'll have will be partial because my biggest debitors is in a cash crunch of his own.

Life as a contractor is a very fun thing.

Anyone looking for Linux/BSD/PHP consulting on the...

The new 1x1 has disc tabs on the frame and fork. It's pretty sweet. Bianchi also has a disc ready single speed frame called the D.I.S.S. and its not the ugly green they use on everything else. It's about $600 for the frame and fork. You could also add the Surley Singleator to a regular mountain bike frame and go form there. You might want to check out the Santa Cruz Chameleon, it's got horiz. drop outs and a derailleur hanger. Good luck with the new bike.

My wisdom teeth are gone, broken off, bits by bits, by my dental surgeon in a 25 minutes ride, alternating between using what looked like heavy duty punches and, perhaps more gentle, a drill with it's characteristic noise.

Rigth now the anasthesia is wearing out. I'm starting to taste the iron-filled blood that's flooding my mouth, through both gauze and suture. Soon enough I'll know...

thanks! i've also heard that the little blades that diabetics use to get blood for blood sugar testing are good too. i've completely blanked on what they're called right now, but they're supposed to be fairly cheap i think.

getting your wisdom teeth out sucks, but the pain killers they gave me were very very good.
delirium_faerie:
yeah, lancets. i don't know why i couldn't remember that. i've never used them, just heard of people who have and said they were good. seems like they'd be too small to me though. but i don't know.

that sucks about the pain killers. mine kept me numb and half-conscious for a week.

Hmm, new Olivia set today!

One more to cement her position as my favorite SG. Smart, sexy, multi-talented and so on. S5 is one lucky b*****d ;-).

Also, this is a really interesting document on groups dynamics in online community. Got the link off of Joel Spolsky's blog/web site at joelonsoftware.com

I want a tatoo of a chainring on my right lower leg (left side.) Since I always seem to end up with a grease print of my actual chainring anyway...

I wiped out pretty bad today. Over the handle bar and all. Somehow my brake cable housing got kinked and the left brake pad went under the rim. It's in the shop now.

Today/Tommorow is a holiday over here. So no working.

I fell on my ass looking at Al's new set.

Somehow my bike front tire went from 100 to 20 psi in 3 days. That's awfully fast.

Well, I had a weird day. It all started with having a huge amount of sushi for lunch, this is out of character for me. Then one of my friend calls me and asks me to go to his place ASAP. So I take off work early and show up. Turns out he was landscaping his backyard ;-). I got a blister in my left...

It's crazy, I'm running around all over the place, working full time. I barely have time to check out the site every other day.

I purchased my new bicycle today. Had them replace the heavy suspension fork with a standard alu fork and put SPD pedals too. It should be ready friday ;-).

I need to get my tight in shape! I'm used to walking a lot (~20-30km a day) but I was shocked when I used my old one today. Nearly got killed too cause the front brake's...

Oh you're right, it's totally more fun to be outside than sat on a computer wink

That bike looks awesome. I'm thinking maybe I should get a new bike instead of using buses to my new job...

Bike redux: I got around to fixing my old bike today. The front brake is a write-off. It's not worth sinking money in, I'll give the frame to a friend. Oh well.

Hmm, quite a busy week and it shows no sign of letting up for a few more weeks. What the hell?

I'm looking into getting a bike. I'd like a single speed with disc brakes, 700c wheels and over all ultra light weight. The only thing that worry me is that the shortest path back from downtown is all seriously uphill (ie, the messengers crack...

*sigh*

I am not trying to 'shut down' anything. I'm hoping that continually posting a picture of my cock in the constantly recurring penis size threads will become so redundant that it becomes funny. In short, it's a joke, man.

BTW, post a picture in your profile, pussy. tongue
