i was actually given a press pass for the liberal leadership convention through our student newspaper, though i doubt we are going to run much because we publish on wednesday, and it'll be old news by then. the reporters got a short interview with jean, which i missed, but hanging out with peter was a blast, and we spent a lot of time on the ctv set, lloyd robertson is much shorter in person.

The INS decided that I was "displacing" an american worker by being an independent contractor working for an american company. Therefore, they refused me entry into the United States. If I try to cross the border, I will be arrested and barred from entering the US for 10 years. Joy.

I got a confirmation today, I'm going to Sacramento wednesday and I come back saturday. I'll meet the executives, investors, advisors and partners of the company I work for now. Should be fun.

I got my new work PC, a nice dell desktop that's nearly silent with a dell-badged 17" samsung LCD screen, sweet. I'm supposed to get a second LCD screen in the coming months.
It's very likely that I'll be going for a few days in Sacramento next week.

Hmm, I underestimated just how much effort it is to run 3 jobs in parallel. Thankfully, one of them ends Friday. So its spot (4 days @ 8 hours each) will go to one of the jobs I've been handling in the evenings. Another one will lose it's week day spot (1 day @ 8 hours).
