So it all started in highschool, the private school I went to emphasized community service etc alot. So...

So after an 8 hour bus ride I finally made it to Pittsburgh. We almost got stuck in snow along the highway, and I almost got killed in a taxi when we hit an icy patch. But I'm in one piece and i'm here, thats all I care about.

I did meet a man with gold teeth on a layover in "silver springs MD." He...

So its wed afternoon. classes started an hour late today, horray ice! but as I sit here at my desk and put off my homework i'm pondering two things:

the first: is it possible to subsist off of bagels and poptarts alone? or will i eventually turn into a giant bagel like my mom used to tell me.

Hey! I've been living off of ABC Spaghetti O's for the last week or so, and I've been wondering whether or not I'll turn into a gigantic meatball. eeek

Easton is about an hour and a half away from Baltimore.
Here you go.
You just go over the Bay Bridge and drive for about forty minutes straight on Rt. 50, and it brings you right through Easton. This summer I'm going to be volunteering at the National Aquarium a day or two a week, so I guess I need to get used to the drive. smile

Oh, the reference to the kiln man -- I work at a paint your own pottery shop part time. The Clay Bakers
The kiln man's name is Brian. love I'm not actually an art student, although it would be fun. I graduated from high school last year, but I wasn't really ready to move away from home. (I want to go to school in St. Petersburg, FL. So I was ready to move, just not so far away.) So anyway, I stayed here for an extra year -- I'm taking a few required courses at the community college and working. I'm going to transfer for this fall semester.

I've looked in waitressing. Actually, one of my friends just landed a job at the Yacht Club. Some nights she makes upwards of $25/hour with tips. She says that all the customers are snooty, but the money's worth it. The drive to the Club would be too long for me, but I'm going to look into some other places around here. Thanks for the advice!

Well I'm going back to bed. Thanks for writing in my journal!

So its january 13th, or... e il tredici de gennario... if you want to use my newly acquired italian skills (and i'm not even sure thats right...)

But i'm back at school, studying 'cannibalism as modernism in brazilian art' and italian elements, for a short 3 week intersession. after which time the real spring semester will start and the pressure will be back on.
Its...

So its 4:38am.

I'm finally back home and definitely enjoying my christmas break. Its wonderful to see my family, my dog, and all my friends come back to town. Ive been trying to juggle christmas parties with rest... but as it turns out, i'm still on the college finals sleep schedule, thus I find myself attempting to stay up all night and sleep all day...

So after much debate, I typed in my credit card number and joined. No regrets at all.
The community around here seems really nice, although i'm not quite sure how large it is. I feel a bit indimidated by all the groups of friends and relationships. But hey, youve got to start somewhere right?

I don't live in MD anymore, but I hear they've gotten a bunch of snow already this year. I'm in Orlando now. Thank goodness -- I hate the cold!

I spend a lot of time in most of the coffee places you named in your email. I must have run into you at some point.
Seems like I met someone this summer that went to school in Baltimore...I can't remember who or where though.
