New picture, whoopie!
My car is going to die any minute now. Am I going to get another Volvo 240, or am I going to get a different/newer car? I'm sure you're the suspense must be eating away at you.
We (Gamma Rays) played with Dave Smalley (singer from ALL/Down By Law/Dag Nasty) and he really enjoyed our set. Lots of people really enjoyed our set. I enjoyed our set. Our drummer got sick (non alcohol related) and puked all over the parking lot. But anyway(s), Mr. Smalley was a super nice, down to earth kinda guy. I haven;t listened to too much of his band(s) stuff in recent years, but when I was 19-22 I listened to the first Dag Nasty album at least every week, usually more often than that. To have someone who has helped guide your musical parasail tell you, "You guys were great tonight, definately stick with it because you have something special," meant a lot.
After the show I went up to (ugh) Owings Mills to hang with some friends. Watched that movie thats about small town beauty pagents, I forget what its called, but it was damn funny, much funnier than The Pianist, but then again, so was Ishtar. I think I lost 4th, 3rd and quite possibly 2nd gear on the ride home.
My car stalled on me no less than 10 times on the 2.7 mile ride into work Monday. Phun,
