So I just witnessed a cop wrestle a thief to the ground right outside my building. Pretty exciting stuff. Apparently, someone left the front door open, and this idiot waltzes in off the street to see if he can get away with anything of value. Since he only had access to a storage closet full of empty boxes and the laundry room, he didn't have much to choose from.

I'm not sure who called the police, but the cop cornered him into the laundry room and maced the hell out of him. He chased the guy up the stairs and I came out of my apartment to see what the noise was all about. I got up the stairs just in time to see the cop wrestling him to the ground and watch him get away. The cop called for backup on his radio, and they caught him about 20 minutes later. It was just like a movie. hah. The police have been in and out of the building all day trying to retrace exactly what happened, and I've been interviewed a few times already. I might even have to show up in court to testify.

One thing you can say about where I live: It's never boring. heh
