Thanks to all the folks who welcomed me back. I've been gone for less than 3 months, but it's felt like much longer. No, I swear I'm not an addict...

It has been a pretty blissful weekend since Super Stompy The Noisemaker upstairs was out of town. He just came home, the stomping has once again commenced, and my headphones have once again gone back on. Why oh why did I have to move under Mr. Lead Foot Champion 2003?

I watched the movie Secretary last night, after watching about six episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Quite a strange transition, that. The movie was quite bizarre, even by my standards. I was intrigued with it up to the last 10 minutes. That is, until it ended in typical Hollywood style. It's as if the director had a great idea, but didn't know how to end it. Then again, I'm not too familiar with the S&M lifestyle, so I can't really comment much on it. Perhaps that's the way it may have really ended in reality. Once again my overactive brain tries to think too much.

I'm listening to Bob Segar. I should just go ahead and break out a sixpack and style my hair into a mullet right now. Well, it beats listening to the Stompy Ballet upstairs.

Weekends are much too short. I need to start drawing up plans for a time-freezing device. At least the weather is nice. But knowing this city, the temperature will be back down to teens by tomorrow. Ah, I need to move...

Question for the masses: Do you think people fail to leave messages on a journal if it already has too many because they feel it'll never get seen?
