I got a hand-me-down bike. It has a lot of rust on the frame and needs some maintenance work, but I love it anyway. It's this metallic red that I think is faded from the sun, so it fades to orange in places like a flame. I need to put a basket on it or something, so that I can take it grocery shopping.

Today's dinner: Thai cocnut curry. I'm discovering the wonders of cocnut milk.

I bought a gorgeous bunch of giant sunflowers for three bucks today at the farmer's market. The cute, flirtatious flower seller gave me a deal and told me to "give them plenty of love." okee doke.

I'm happy. Or maybe just tipsy. or both. I used to be able to drink like a fish, but my tolerance is shot. I've had one cider and it feels like naptime already. saves time and money, though.
