oh my. Let me tell you about this cheesecake I made at 2AM last night. It has a gingersnap crust, a bottom layer of cheesecake, a middle layer of fresh peach compote, and a top layer of cheesecake. Later, it will be glazed with a peach glazed and garnished with fresh peaches.

We're having a dinner party tonight, so I'm also making broccoli canneloni and roasted vegetables. I wish I could be a professional giver-of-dinner-parties, what a happy life that would be.

We went to a small party on the 4th, it was a lot of fun. I wore a pleated skirt that is way too short and everyone saw my ass when I'd bend over to pet the kitties. The house was your normal tract home, but they've done a lovely job with remodelling and decorating. There were a couple tattoo artists present, and at one point one of them broughht out some kind of smaller, lighter, new-fangled tattoo gun. I am all revved up to get some ink done next weekend. I cannot wait to have this big, vibrant, colorful piece on me.
