past thursday i contacted the Red Light Clothing Exchange on Hawthorne to see if any of the pieces i'd made for consignment had sold yet.
to which the reply was, "well yes, it looks as though all 5 of your blazers have sold, a hoody and a skirt."
i was so pleased. so i said, "Wow, really? Thats friggin awesome!" like a dork. But the dork whose stuff sold in just a month.
all 5 blazers. thats really great.
thanks to whoever bought them.

this week is last thursday on alberta st.
which is basically an art fare and i'm going to sell some pieces there this week
and then bring some shirts and blazers to the Red Light again.

soon i am going to make 2 more shirt screens.

this new bar opened up near my house. a venue actually which is really exciing because its the only one right near where i live and could walk from if i wanted to.
we went to check it out for the first time last night
beyond all reason was the opening band
they were fun there were only 10 people at the stage
there is a seperate bar area outside of an all ages area which is nice i think
i introduced myself and offered up promo patches to the guys in the band. throughout the evening they each picked one. the lead singer insisted on paying me for it though even though i said he could have it.
i gave them all shirt fliers too for my heart.
it was fun and they were all really nice and said they really dug my work.
but i drank too much and bailed on work today.
thats okay, though. i've got my priorities in order, i can tell.

i put up a little more art in the ktp folder
i'll probably put a few every couple days or so until its all there
