just looked at your profile, i see you have listed donnie darko as a fave, it just so happens that i came home from work and am in the first 10 minutes of the movie....it just felt like a darko day. crazy

Ames is right in the middle of iowa, and yeah it is kinda back country. the only way to get around it is to get a decent group of friends.
there isnt any great underground scene, the job market sucks, a few hot chicks is all we got i guess.

it doesnt mean there arent cool people here, it just takes some effort.
i guess we do have 3 tat shops now, but i dont really dig those people, they have a hollier than thou attitude and that sux.

the best part of ames is the college town thing, about half of the population is students, so the scenery's always changin.

hmmm, what else about ames???? well it used to have a pretty sweet scene, but that was a few years ago. i got nothin i guess. the only reason i'm still here is cause i found a pretty sweet job and get paid some bucks to be here. as soon as i can sell out, i'm outta here.
