life has pretty much ground to a halt due to weather. i'm not a winter person so my natural tendency is to remain inside, ignoring the horrible weather, so i do not venture out for anything other than necessity. this means all social life is limited to those willing to brave the weather for me. luckily some awesome people do
and as for a paycheck, my kids don't have school, whether we get 3" or 12" of snow, so i'm not able to go into work. this winter has convinced my that the northeast is not for me. of course, we are stuck since the economy makes it impossible to get our $$ out of our house, were we to sell it. hey, it can't last forever, right? so, i'm just going to enjoy my kids and pets, ignore the increasing testiness from my job, and enjoy the moment.

I hear ya. I'm very tired of this winter (and I generally like winter - - or at least "Kentucky winter" which is usually 35 - 50 degrees and rainy). Hibernation, while it certainly has its upside, gets a tad old after a few months.

shenanigans I tell you! Shenanigans! It's 13 below zero here & my FWD car won't make it out of the driveway...thank Gawd for a huge movie collection or it'd be like The Shining up here in the Montana Mountains before too long. Enjoy your moments!
