i was just offered a part in a play!
I am going to be a fairy in The Merry Wives of Windsor!
Apparently it's a small part (which is fine, when my new job starts i won't have a ton of time on my hands) but I get to have a speech and the director says she has something "spectacular" planned for the faries at the end of the play.
I think she felt bad offering me such a small role, but little did she know she offered it to a woman who owns not one, not two, but 3 pairs of fairy wings (one made of purple stretch velvet and armature wire) and complains that she has not enough places to wear them.
its been sooooo long since i've done shakespeare, and my tounge really aches for such rich language. plus, it's a chance to be back in the theater FINALLY.
i'm thrilled.
