... It's finally getting cold here... by cold i mean that its hi 60's low 70's during the day, but below freezing at night/early morning. Which sucks because you gotta keep taking off your body armor to peel off layers of clothes or you'll sweat to death in the afternoons. ...so thanxgiving was nice... with my adopted family of misfit soldiers =) They cleaned the place up for us and the Iraqi workers tried to make it special I think... My interpreter and friend Fahdi has been teaching me all the words i need to get killed for insulting someone in Arabic, which prolly isn't a good thing, but everyone should learn the bad words and phrases of a language before they learn anything else... i think.
im pretty sure that when i get back to the states, im gonna move back to DC. i miss New York, Baltimore, and snow. i miss mild weather and hardcore shows. i miss traveling... california is all the same, but every state on the east coast has its own style. California has too many stupid rules and taxes, and everything's sooo far away. it takes almost 3 hours to get to san diego from los angeles. I can be in the Village in NY from washington DC in about an hour longer than that. i guess right now tho, i'd take anywhere in the states that i can get a warm shower and a cold beer. =)
