well... i just got the word that i definately(which really means it could happen in the military) get to go home on R&R next week.... which means that for 2 weeks i don't hafta worry about getting shot at or blown up(unless i decide to go to the park in Compton), or deal with the stench of raw sewage and burning trash(well... maybe for a few days in Bakersfield). But, I can almost see the Las Vegas lights when I close my eyes at night, and I can almost imagine what it will feel like to sleep in a bed... or to not have to wear body armor every where I go... i just hope i don't get carried away at the craps table... =)

They say that you don't really truely appreciate things until you no longer have them... things like having running water become more meaningful =)
