Today it became official. I would have made a shotty lawyer. Went to trial for a speeding ticket in hopes that the officer wouldn't show. She did because just like on the day I got the ticket she had nothing better to do. I did get two out of three tickets dismissed and the judge did spare me some of the additional costs. Not a total loss!

Ever had to tell 171 people coming home on a flight from Vegas that they won't be getting their luggage? Guess who had that wonderful job at the airport last night. Me! I seriously thought I might be killed by some old ladies on oxygen who didn't have such wonderful luck on the slot machines. Conveniently anybody with actual boss status was nowhere to be found either. After the initial shock and ideas that maybe I was playing a rather large prank on the whole plane wore off. Things went fairly smoothly and nobody was slain. Shwew!!!
