My parents really wanted to take some photographs of the family on Vesak Day (some Indian spiritual festival they give us a holiday for). It was good fun, I haven't had this much of a good time with my family since, forever. I think things have actually gotten better after my parents realized I'm not the little angel they thought they'd raised. Not having to pretend, for starters, is a really big relief on my part.
We took some photographs with us doing funny shit by the lamp post, like proposing to our own brother and... other weird shit. Sure amused the tourist along the river...
