It has been way too long since I have last posted on this site. A huge sorry to all my friends for not being on the boards or leaving you guys comments. To those of my friends who have just lost a friend, I am truly sorry for your loss and hope you survive the pain you are going through at the moment.
It has been a crazy past couple of weeks. One of the girls decided to quit at work, leaving myself and another to pick up all the slack. It is complete bullshit because as it was, we were both working 45 hour + weeks. So now we have to fill in on top of that. My fellow worker has almost been an inspiration to me as she always seems to give without worry for herself. Today she confided in me that she was feeling really burnt out. My response was "Thank god! I thought I was the only one and you were subhuman!"
For the past 3 Sundays I have been meeting up with some guys who have a metal band. I randomly met their bass player on the train one day when I was working. Looking at the way I dress (typical metalhead even at work), he asked if I was a singer/screamer. After some friendly small talk and my client nudging me in the side, I confessed that I could scream... not that great of a singer by any stretch of the imagination. So I've been heading down there and screaming along with them. I think it is going well... but I've thought that before and it hasn't worked out. Doesn't bother me too much if it doesn't work out. I'll get my Sundays back.
As for the girl... I don't think I could possible do any better... I'm not sure that better even exists. She's amazing in every sense of the word.
