i feel sad today, not for myself but for a good friend

his mother has advanced cancer throughout her upper body... today they were going to sit with the doctor... not to find out what they can do, but how long she has left....

i cant even imagine what it is like for him to go through... sitting there listening to someone tell you that your mother only has so long to live
