Managed going to the appointment for ptsd what I wait for over a year now and 7 months ago to see if I qualify to get into a program.
This morning I couldn't find the address with the info and only had a few hours sleep. Not a good combination! Got their on time to spare. So the interview started where this lady said that she's going to see if I qualify and see if things changed. (Not what I expected).
So I told her this and that (medications and pain killers what i'm on) and said you have an addiction problem. I said I can stop everything abruptly, she said no slowly.
So apparently I have a drug & alcohol (I told her it's going to be complicated) and a few other things.
instead of being one and a half hours, it took a little over 2 hours and and said that i qualify for the program, but before this she has to see her supervisor to see if i'm on too high dosage. They want people to cope without high dosages.
This lady was so surprised to see that i'm functional (walk, talk, etc) with all these drugs and still able to drive, I am like this all the time with or without drugs.
Should know in about 2-3 weeks time if i'm in or not.
