Here I am. About 9 months after completing that cybersecurity bootcamp I mentioned in a previous post. I'm CompTIA CySA+ certified and can't manage to land a job. Given I paused my search for about 2 months last year. I feel like the bootcamp oversold the job market I'd be trying to enter. Yes there is a huge demand for cybersecurity professionals. However all the job postings want a candidate with some kind of experience. And I get that. I am eager to get that experience but I just need an opportunity. Don't get me wrong. I'm not bitching or moaning. I'm just looking for an opportunity to get my foot in the door. Until then I'll be grinding away on LinkedIn and Indeed.
