one of my cats has been gone for over a week now. i'm hoping he has just been doing his tomcat thing. hopefully he'll come back. when/if he does we're going to the vet to have him de-balled.
more sad pet news...our rabbit died. no clue what caused it. one day he's hopping around being happy and the very next he's just dead.

i've decided that we aren't getting any more pets for a while. my black cat (vera) and our horse (achilles) will have to do. we've decided to get a basset hound puppy in a year or so. we're waiting till our daughter gets a little older. she is pretty good with our cat though (most of the time). but this cat is no ordinary cat...our daughter could sit on her head and she would still be purring away, enjoying every second of it. i don't think a puppy would be so masochistic though.
