Well then, crazy week!

Drinks with Laura and Phillipe, my roommates, at the CopperTank Bar. Beer and Nachos, my favoiurites!
Last Thursday
Stayed home with Laura, chilled out a bit, ya know...
Last Friday
Metal class! Learned to use the MIG welder! woot!!! So wicked! I welded a pipe to a piece of sheet metal haha, i am the shit! yeah!
Opening night at the Vancouver Art Gallery, for a show calledPaint, amazing! so much fun! Laura and I had a blast, and Id have to say it was the best display of contemprary painting i have ever seen! So if you're in the Vancouver area.. CHECK IT OUT!!!
Then we went down to our local haunt, the Railway Club.... and drank I would have to say... WAY TOO MUCH, thanks to our lovely bar tender Aaron. Thanks babe! And oh lordy, the elderly men we meet there! haha, i love them!
Last Saturday
HUNG OVER!!! AND SICK!! HEAD COLD!!! GRRR!!
laid about all day, feeling like utter shit! ahh
then, as planned, met up with Laura and Justin and went out... down to Steamworks, for PUMPKIN BEER!
have you ever had pumpkin beer before?? its so crazy, wouldnt recomend drinking more than one, its so nutmeggy, but really good... but i was so sick and hungover that i couldnt even drink it, or eat anything, i felt like i was dying, it was horrible... but try the beer!
then to the RED ROOM to see the wonderful band of Mass Undergoe, (theyre also playing this weekend in New West, so check them out if you can!) Theyre so great, i love them! especially the bassist, hes so sexy! this is him:
but then i was feeling too sick... so i had Justin drive me home, the sweetie, i felt bad tho
i went to sleep...

Happy Thanks Giving Canada!!!!!

i still feel like shit, but im beginning to lose that horrid hang over from friday... way too much acohol and tylonal... bad mix!!! beer plus shots plus cold medication.. no no!
Laura and I headed into Mission to have Thanksgiving Dinner with my family... but i couldnt really stomach anything but wine.. so i just drank lots of wine....
Monday
I feel much better now! i can eat! yay!
Thanks Giving dinner number two, at our house! Phillips friends from school came over and he cooked us up a wonderful dinner... salmon, with homemade cranberrysause and guacamole with chips and rice, and his friend brought organic yams, and everyone brought and drank lots of wine... such a great night!!!
Tusday
stayed home... took it easy, finished some homework
Wednesday
went and saw The Dudes! Oh my god theyre so amazing! Check them out please! so great, i guarantee you'll love them!
So we saw them at the Media Club, which i had never been to, but i really suggest it, cuz it was actually a great venue, i really liked it there! Chatted up Dan and the boys, and found out they had nowhere to stay that night (those silly boys) so we invited them to stay at our place! So at like 2 am, we all headed over to our place for more drinking etc!
Thursday
we slept in, then woke up and made (in our hungover state) waffles, scrambled eggs, orangejuice, and bacon! So good! we are so good! haha! And then they carried on their way, with hugs and waves goodbye, into their van to drive off to Victoria for the next show... and Laura and I cleaned up the mess...hungover and tired
Friday (today)
I'm tired, and the consruction workers outside our house are very loud... so im doing nothing today, just sitting round in my jammies.....!
