So, I might be making an unscheduled career change in the next few months.
Maybe I'll go back to making snow at Snow Summit in Big Bear for the winter and go back to school in the spring and summer.
Today, I just found out that two people I have great respect for have had their lives turned upside down recently. A mentor of mine was apparently going through a very stressful time (according to the rumor mill, his father is suffering from a terminal disease) and in an arguement, lost control and injured his wife to the point of needing stitches. She called 911 He struggled with the police and was shot in the abdomen. He is recovering and undergoing the Judicial process as it applies to him.
It's an interesting thing to have someone you hold in very high regard, suddenly fall so drastically from grace into alleged villainy. I only hope that this can have some good salvaged from it. Maybe a lesson to some young couple on the rocks who take it out on each other rather than working together to find a solution.
Growing-up sucks. I don't wanna play grown-up anymore. Can I just be a kid again?
