OUCH!!!
I went tubing on Monday and was having areally great time when my buddy Skylar and I (on the tube) Slammed into the side of the tow boat at about 25 -30 MPH. Skylar took it just below the neck and has a sore back. I, however, hit a slit second before him and having 60 lbs on him, came away with heavier damage. A possibly slightly cracked, and definately severely bruised rib on my left side, and a giant welt on my left arm just above the elbow from colliding with the rub rail. And after getting the wind knocked out of me from said collision, I had a delayed numbness and tingling in my extremities from hyperventalation while trying to get air. I decided to take an ambulance ride at the advice of my friend Ky because, being so close to the spine, we thought my injury could be the culprit. But after arriving there in just pain and asking the triage nurse what could be done after waiting for four hours decided to leave as they couldn't do anything if it were broken anyway. But thanks to meds it's actually quite bearable and it isn't broken so I can actually sleep in my bed instead of in a chair or sitting on the couch like my dad had to do when he broke two ribs in December.
Well that's about all. I'm drinkin beer and listening to Motley Crue. I suggest you do the same.
Hasta.
