What a Weekend!
On St Pats I was a cookin' machine. Corned beef, cabbage and potatoes galore. And plenty of people to eat it too. My good friend Tanya made the trip all the way up from Long Beach to celebrate with us. That's just one example of her awesomeness. Awesomisity? We drank ourselves stupid on Guinness, Bushmills and Car Bombs. Tanya and Skylar ended up on my kitchen floor taking turns pouring beer into each others mouths whle lying on thier backs, I was playing bartender and Irish flirt, and everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves immensly.
Friday, we were hungover. Slept late, breakfasted at Marvin's, on Grant in Novato, and watched movies all day and got to bed around midnight.
Saturday I got up at 5am and went to work. Got home a little after 3pm, worked on The Beast trying to find the problem with my starter, took a shower, went to the store for barbeque-ables, barbequed and drank, DD'd for everyone as we went to the bars.
Sunday, (continued from Saturday) still at the bar and I have to get up at 5 again. Most decided to get a cab and I drove the rest home. I finnaly got into bed at about 1:45 only to be waked just before 4 by one friends being a complete ass. I didn't get back to sleep and went to work feeling shittily tired. Needless to say I went to bed way earlier than I usually do.
Last week I finally saw Tank Girl. One wacky gameshow, but damn was it awesome. As I was watching it, I discovered that I really like husky voices like Lori Petty's, Jennifer Tilly's and Joey Lauren Adams'. They can sound happy, sad, silly, angry or bored but they always sound sexy.
This weeks beverage and music picks are:
Earl Grey tea with honey, and "Dream Within A Dream" by Dreadzone. These are really good with a book and a rainy day. I may have thought of it because it's raining here right now.
By the way, if you haven't yet seen " The Incredibles", do.
Adios!
