My fingers hurt.
I finally got offa my ass about the guitar and went out and bought a new one. And this time I'm gonna learn, dammit! So I've been fiddling around with it and teaching myself some chords and scales, hence the sore fingers. One would think that with a background in classical strings that learning the guitar would be relatively easy. Well srew that! My hat is off to all those who have learned to handle the axe with confidence. And I thought Going from Viola to Saxophone was tough!
Well, another week gone and I'm still here. Damn! At least I have " The Sauce"! Speaking of which, I'm gonna fix me another drink......... AAAHHHH! Better! I've never been a Gin man, but I recently bought a bottle of Sappire to have to offer my so called "Girlfriend", and she did't stick around long enough to enjoy it. Lucky me!! That is some really tasty shit!! And speaking of drink, I think I'm going to add to the weekly recommendations. Sammich's Drink of the week is the Almond Joy. 2 parts Malibu Rum, 1 part Amaretto, and 1 part Creme De Cacao. Best as a shooter or in a martini glass. Cheers!
And now for todays local weather. It finally cleared on saturday and has remained so through today at least. I love sunny weather. I never realized how much 'til I moved up here. I'd be out there right now if it weren't for the fact that I've had about 30 minutes of sleep since about 9:30 yesterday morning, so it's too damn bright out there right now.
Well, I believe that's all for this weeks installment of Sammich-izms. Maybe not -izms, as Ferris Bueller did not like them, and he's a really smart guy! But either way, I'm signing off.
