nothing bad going on, i'm just struggling with the thought of going home.
i feel the anger creeping in, and i don't want to be that person anymore.
i'm happy. i don't want to let anyone take that away, especially not my family.

If you don't want them to take away your happiness: don't let them. Put your armor on and prepare for the worst, but remember that you are the one responsible for your own happiness. Anger is baggage. Don't carry too much or it will weigh you down.
