My boss called me into her office this afternoon. I wasn't too worried since I know that I've been doing my job well. I guess she thinks so too, and so does her boss. The offered me a new position and a small raise. This new position basically allows me to gain experience in all departments which will make me more eligible for a promotion. I'm pretty excited about this. It has it's downsides though: no more weekend days off, because I'll have a set schedule. That kinda sucks. And I'll have to be available for call ins on the days that I do work, basically that means I have to be ready to work as early as 9 everyday even if I'm not scheduled until 12. If it doesn't work out for me, I'll have the option to go back to customer service sometime after the holidays. An awesome end to a great week.
