Last week at work was a pretty long slog....it involved early morning starts, working late, pressure deadlines, and correcting other peoples work. I can't say that it was the best week of my life, but sometimes I kind of thrive on the pressure...and with things suddenly looking brighter for the company it makes me much more confident of a large payrise sometime VERY soon....
....and after all of that, I still managed to get out of work an hour early on Friday and got everything done...ie. shopping, last touches to the cleaning of my flat...before I went down to meet my visitor at the station...
And that pretty much accounts for the last three days
I guess we're going to see how things develop despite the distance and age gap (10 and a half years) between us...but it has certainly been a great start on several levels.

glad to hear about your visitor. i'm at a strange crossroads right now with some relationships, but at least it's interesting, even if it does end up biting me in the ass.
