Quite a busy holiday weekend, for a change!! Saturday morning was spent just food shopping and walking round the city centre in the sun. Relaxed in the afternoon, before I met up with friends in the evening.
We went to a fasr food restaurant, and we pretty much all ordered the same - 1/4 chicken with two side dishes. MIne came first, and I thought not a bad portion. Then one of my friends dinner arrived....and his 1/4 chicken was considerably bigger than mine.
Damn the law that protects fractions!!!!
After that, we went next door to the cinema and saw Revenge of the Sith - we enjoyed it. Some terrible acting that I'm sure I could have made a better stab at. But, it look good and was pretty satisfactory all round.
After that, it was pretty late, and we still found time to go to a friends party....
....Sunday was an early start, as we all went up to a local park and spent the day walking round looking at the trees, deer, ducks and other wildlife. Caught the sun a bit, and then thought it was a good idea to drink a large amount of red win later on in the pub. It went straight to my head, and I was talking strange all night.
Monday was just relaxing - although I met up with a friend in the afternoon for a few drinks and lunch, before returning home and just lying down on my settee and watching a few films....
And today was work and it was....well, just work I guess!!!
