Two days here....but nothing much really happened! Two boring days of work....well, almost two days. I just didn't feel like going in first thing yesterday, so I looked up my list of excuses for being late and ticked off the one that said "My shower broke at the weekend and the plumber is on his way".
Worked a treat. I sounded fresh enough so it was convincing. And I didn't call my boss....as he was late too
So, added to the extra hour I'd already had before I phoned in, I got an extra 2.5 hours sleep. Very much needed, and as soon as I got in, I caned through my work like a man possessed. Already made up over half the time I "lost".
Oh well, not much else. Pay day on Friday....which also means rent and bills time again. And a three dfay weekend - bank holidays should be more often.
