Ah, Monday....
....I'd planned on staying up rather late last night because, quite frankly, I'm a night owl and don't like going to bed early. Well, at power cut at 11.15pm last night put paid to that. It was really annoying, as 50 yards away the power was on - I am, evidentally, on the wrong side of the threshhold. It seemed to affect quite a large area too.
Damned annoying.....so what do I do? Go straight to bed? Nah, not me. I decided to vent my frustration and hack out large chunks of ice from my freezer under the light of my mobile phone display. Yeah, good move....I didn't injure myself or anything - I just went to bed with cold hands! Which, erm, yeah....you get the picture.
Anyway, work went quickly today....great. I love it when that happens. I got drenched at lunch time by procrastinating once again. "Should I go early? Nah....I'll hang on for 10 minutes more....and another 10 minutes...and another".....and lo and behold, when I finally did go out it chucked it down 5 minutes later leaving me very wet. Thanks rain, thrain! I really should have remembered my umbrella this morning.
