So, I decided to return - the email in my hotmail account was far too tempting to resist......and exactly waht have I been doing since I disappeared without tace back in October 2005 or so....
Well, not much really!! Got a new job in Nov 05 - gave 4 days notice and walked out after a contractual dispute and walked into a better paid job tbhe week after (ahem, courtesy of a good friend!!!).
I've thoroughly planned my novel and I should be good to go in a few months time to make the final plunge into the first draft.....yeah, it's been a long slog since I conceived it back in late 2000, but now I'm a much more mature (cough) writer and have infused many more themes into the story over the last few months of planning.
I've also been through two relationships - the first one was great, but fizzed out due to the distance and the unwillingness to move from both of us. The second one was a typical rebound one - didn't get to know her true colours before we started going out and really didn't work. Broke up a few weeks ago - with a holiday already booked. Thankfully, there were six of us so managed to avoid each other for the most part. Stioll, I tried to be friends.....oh well!
And I have a night going at a local venue once a month playing whatever the fuck I want to play....along with whatever the fuck a couple of friends want to!
That pretty much sums up the last, erm, 21 months!!!
