i liked a lot of the answers i got for yesterday's question.
my simple pleasures i hold in high regard are:
plants, watering them, tending them, watching them grow.
coffee. i am a lover of a rich bold sumatra. love mah coffee.
rainbows.
quiet.
a very brisk air in the winter. the kind that makes your nose tingle.
had to take my oldest son to the vet. he has gingivitis, and for a 6-yr-old cat, that's a little young. he's dropped a few pounds, so he's only 15 lbs now. so i get to start brushing all three of my sons' teeth now! i cannot contain my joy on that one.
and it'll be a couple hundred dollars more into the oldest to fix. at this point, i'm one of those sappy petowners that see no problem with that.
also picked up the baby. panda was staying at a friend's, and they were going to keep him, but after i visited last week, panda flipped out. crying constantly, wouldn't come out from under the bed, and if he did he was super agressive towards the other cats, sniffing where i had been sitting. so my baby boy is home now. infested with fleas, but home. i put drops on all 3 of them, since i noticed we've had a few here and there. did i mention this baby cat is a 20-lb-himalyan? a big, whiny, one? i love to bury my face in his fur. yes, i'm strange. but i'll wait until all the fleas are gone before i terrorize him with that trick again.
QUESTION TODAY IS:
are dignity and honor lost values? how do you feel you possess them?
i have a couple new friends on here, i give mad love to you. love love love.
and yes, i still want slippers. i was gonna get me a pair until i had to drop $111 on my sammers. pennies in the pot to have such an amazingly well behaved sweet kind and gentle cat, though. just pennies in the pot.

To some they are. Far to many forget what being human actualy means. Passion for life and self value are pretty muchn the only freedom we have these days. That means we chose to step into one courner or the other. Some take the path where those values are at the very bottom of there list. And others, i like to think i'm in this catagory, hold them in high regard. Even though i dont like the word honor when discussing myself(i think is is way to broad of a word) i do think i have them both. To dignity leads right into honor. My true beliefs come first, despite how selffish that may seem. Call it stubborn if you must, but if something i belive in strongly is threatened i will will fight long into the night to keep it alive. Someone above mentioned the word loyalty. I hold that to be one of the most important values of my life. Not only to myself and what i truely belive in, but to my friends as well. And i will fight just as hard for someone i care about as i would for somthing i strongly belive in. And that is why i believe i have them both. Or this ny-quil could just be screwing with my head. Sorry my my answer was so long.
